This year I have decided to start making monthly videos for Aurora to watch when she get older. Kind of a modern day photo album if you will. It will highlight what we have been up to throughout the month and how Aurora is growing.
January was a busy month for us.
It started with a trip to Rochester to celebrate Jeff’s 70th birthday. We started the day like any other, eating and visiting breweries. Little did Jeff know, at the last brewery, a bunch of friends and family were waiting to help celebrate with him! He had no idea we planned this surprise party!
The month ended with celebrating Christmas with my side of the family. My Parents (GrandDeere, Grandpa, and Unkie Dunkie) came for an extended weekend. We had a Christmas morning celebration with presents and stockings, went out to a nice dinner, and did some brewery hopping. We even drove by the World’s Largest Ice Fishing Tournament. SO MANY PEOPLE ON THE LAKE!! Although it was a cold weekend, we were able to take Aurora on a sled ride.
The rest of the month was spent playing outside with Lily, reading books, and learning to brush her teeth. Aurora loves playing in the water, even if it is to just wash her hands. She often signs ‘wash hands’ after meals and will continue to sign and point to the sink until we take her.
This little girls personality is really starting to shine and I can't wait to share it with you all every month.
